HOW MAY I RECEIVE SALVATION?



1.) ADMIT to God that you are a sinner and that you desire His gift of Salvation.


"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
-- Romans 3:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
-- Romans 6:23


2.) ACKNOWLEDGE the truth that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to obtain Salvation.


"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me."
-- John 14:6

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast." -- Ephesians 2:8,9


3.) ASK Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins, to cleanse your soul, and to become your PERSONAL Savior.


"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
-- I John 1:9

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -- Romans 10:13


The Bible also states in II Peter 3:9 that the Lord is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." Jesus Christ wants you to repent (be truly sorry) of your sin and to reach out to Him to be your personal Savior.

However, Jesus won't force Himself on you. He offers you His gift of eternal life; it is up to you to receive His gift by receiving Him as your Savior, or to reject His gift by rejecting Him.
